“My wife and I recently stayed at the inn for a weekend getaway and had a wonderful time. While southeastern Arizona is less known and traveled than other parts of the state, it's equally and uniquely beautiful and the Dreamcatcher Inn is perfectly located to explore it all. A stay here offers easy access to Chiricahua National Monument and the entire Chiricahua range, the Willcox playa, the Dragoon mountains, and the towns of Bisbee and Tombstone. There's so much to see and enjoy. Philip and Ray are phenomenal hosts, offering cozy and comfortable accommodations and the kind of tremendous hospitality that you can only find at a small B&B. They're warm and kind, and converse easily with guests during meals or while relaxing in the large common room, a spot that offers great mountain views and opportunities to enjoy the plentiful wildlife activity around the property. Philip prepares breakfasts and the desserts for the dinners served by Ray, and all the food was outstanding. Dinners are optional and run $60 per person, well worth it for a fantastic three-course meal with a glass of local wine. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed two dinners, both of which were excellent. There are limited options for dinner in the immediate area, and the city of Willcox is about 45 minutes away. That said, we've lived in the area for 24 years and can confidently say that Ray's dinners are far better than anything to be found within an hour's drive. On a final note, I reached out to Philip shortly after our trip to try to arrange a stay for friends who were visiting from out of the country. Despite just returning from vacation, he and Ray responded and went out of their way to accommodate their last-minute visit. That went well beyond expectations and demonstrates their commitment to service and hospitality, a rare thing these days. Thank you again, guys! We're so happy that we've discovered Philip, Ray, and the Dreamcatcher and look forward to our next visit.”
“We recently stayed at this inn for two nights. We wanted to be close to the Chiricahua NM to visit and hike. Phillip and Ramon could not have been more hospitable! They fueled us up with great breakfasts, provided good information about hiking in the park, and packed yummy lunches for us to take on our day adventures. Since our visit occurred on nights when no dinner was available at the inn, we brought some food with us and Phillip brought a microwave into our room so we could heat up our meals to enjoy in the courtyard. A few things about the inn really stand out. The room was nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. The food is very fresh, healthy and delicious. They nicely accomodated our vegetarian diets. The courtyard is a garden delight with many beautiful plants curated to attract pollinators and hummingbirds. The view from the dining area is a wonderful vantage point to see many species of birds, including a flock of wild turkeys when we visited. The guests with who we shared our stay included knowledgable birders who helped us to identify the species feeding right outside the windows. The dark night skies provide ample oppportunity for stargazing right in front of the inn from the parking area. All in all it was a memorable stay at a comfortable inn made more special by the hospitality of our hosts. Highly recommended!”
“This is the perfect place to stay to enjoy all that southeastern Arizona offers. The night skies are incredibly dark for planet gazing or simply to watch satellites fly over. Innkeepers Philip and Ramon have set up a wonderful courtyard sitting area with multiple hummingbird feeders, beautiful plants, and a warm gas firepit for the cool evenings. This central area is surrounded by the rooms and fosters conversation with the interesting folks that visit. Breakfasts were amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and well decorated in celebration of the history / culture of this area. If you like birds: A camera and/or binoculars would be helpful, but not at all necessary. You won't have to leave the premises to see a variety of birds. There is a walking path and benches on the large property. If you like hiking: Chiricahua National Monument is just east of the Inn. If you like history: Cochise's Stronghold is quiet, beautiful, and a reasonably short drive. If you like gazing at the Night Skies: Sit in the quiet courtyard and be blown away by how dark it is. If you like wine: The Willcox wine district is just north. That's basically it. What a great place!”
“I traveled for a Girls Hiking Trip to Chiricahua National Monument. I felt so welcomed and safe at the Dream Catcher Inn. A full breakfast was provided every morning. My friends and I had dinner one evening (extra charge, but worth it for the great food and convenience!). Phil and Ray have decorated the inn beautifully with art work and have a bit of a "Green Thumb" outdoors! I loved the flowers and bird feeders! It was relaxing to sip coffee and watch wildlife out the dining room window in the morning. Meeting other guests to share stories and laugh made the trip especially fun! Stop pondering a trip to this inn! Make your reservation for a memorable trip right now!!”
“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the DreamCatcher. The accommodations were beautiful, lovely artwork and very comfortable beds. It was so fun meeting 4 other couples, sharing dinner and talking around the firepit in the cozy courtyard. I cannot say enough positive things about Ramon and Phillip! Food was outstanding! I definitely recommend taking them up on all of their meal options as there are not many restaurants near by and certainly not to the quality of food DreamCatcher serves. Highly recommend!”
